About the Role
As a Pizza Chef at the Stirling Hotel, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our pizza section, ensuring every pizza that leaves the pass reflects our high standards of flavour, presentation, and consistency.
You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef to develop and execute seasonal menus that showcase fresh, local ingredients, while maintaining an organised, efficient and safe work environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Working in a well-established pizza kitchen as part of a professional culinary team
* Preparing, cooking and presenting pizzas to a consistently high standard during busy services
* Assisting the Executive Chef with the development and execution of seasonal pizza menus
* Maintaining an organised workstation with excellent mise en place and time management
* Upholding strong standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene at all times
* Supporting smooth service by working autonomously and communicating clearly with the broader kitchen team
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a pizzeria or busy kitchen environment (hotel or restaurant experience highly regarded)
* Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure
* Strong organisational skills with excellent time management, consistency and attention to detail
* Experience working with a stone pizza oven is an advantage, but not essential – training can be provided for the right candidate
* Sound knowledge of food safety, handling and hygiene practices, with a commitment to safe work procedures
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
