Raglan Drilling Pty Ltd is a dynamic and growing organisation committed to excellence in everything we do. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team and manage the full spectrum of our financial and accounts operations.
About the Role
As the Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial administration. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of End-of-Month (EOM) financial reports
* Payroll processing including PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax obligations
* Management of superannuation and statutory payments
* Preparation and lodgment of payroll tax
* Generation and reconciliation of EOM invoicing
* Oversight and execution of all other accounts functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
* Support with BAS preparation and liaise with external accountants as required
* Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements
About You
* Proven experience in a similar accounts or bookkeeping role
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems and tax obligations
* Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar)
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A proactive and solutions-focused attitude
Qualifications
* Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role preferred
