We are currently seeking Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team at an Established Hotel situated on the Southside of Brisbane. This hotel and function centre has 138 accommodation rooms, conferencing facilities & a well-appointed restaurant and games room.
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, these positions will be responsible for maintaining and delivering the high cleanliness levels and maintaining our housekeeping benchmarks and overall housekeeping operations in accordance with brand standards.
The successful applicants would need to have a 7-day availability, as rostered shifts include weekends and public holidays.
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Servicing and cleaning allocated guest rooms
* Public Area cleaning when required
* Maintaining our high cleanliness standards
* Stocking and maintaining the housekeeping trolleys
* Ensuring all linen cupboards are kept neat and tidy
* Handling all amenities, chemicals and equipment according to specific instructions and OH&S standards and undertaking special cleaning projects as directed.
* Report all maintenance and repair requirements and missing items
* Follow lost property procedures
* Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. v
Qualifications
* Proven housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment
* Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and presentation.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
* Physically fit and capable of performing the role's demands (e.g., lifting, bending, repetitive movements, standing for long periods).
* The flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
