About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Service Desk Officer to support Electrical Test and Tag operations. This role is responsible for coordinating service requests, scheduling technicians, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring smooth communication between field staff and clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes of service requests in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Log, manage, and track Electrical Test and Tag service requests through the service management system.
* Schedule and coordinate technicians for onsite testing activities.
* Maintain accurate asset registers and compliance records.
* Ensure all test and tag documentation and certification are completed and recorded correctly.
* Monitor job progress and follow up on outstanding tasks.
* Act as the first point of contact for client queries and escalations.
* Generate reports on completed jobs, compliance status, and service performance.
* Liaise with internal teams and field technicians to resolve scheduling or operational issues.
* Support invoicing processes by ensuring accurate job data and documentation.
Requirements and Experience
* Previous experience in a Service Desk, Helpdesk, or Service Coordination role.
* Experience supporting field services, facilities, or electrical compliance activities (preferred).
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* High attention to detail, particularly in compliance documentation.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and service management systems.
* NV1 and
UEERL0003 certificate
