RoadTek North Queensland Operations are seeking a high performing, innovative and experienced Workplace Trainer to join the team on a permanent basis.
RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. Responsibilities
* Identify, manage and deliver training in conjunction with Registered Training Organisations.
* Assist in the implementation and delivery of the Work Centre's learning and development program.
* Maintain an employee training program, to ensure timely advice to Resource Managers and Project Managers.
* Maintain strong relationships with the team to ensure they are fully informed of training activities and needs.
* Coordinate and/or deliver both accredited and non-accredited civil construction training courses.
* Responsible for the management and maintenance of a register of training and assessment records.
Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions
* Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
* Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland \"C\" class driver's licence or equivalent.
* A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
Desirable Requirements
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
* Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant Operations).
* Certificate III in Civil Construction (Road Construction and Maintenance).
* Certificate IV in Project Management.
