About the role
Peregian Beach dental is seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Reception/Assistant to join our vibrant dental practice in Peregian Beach, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle. As a member of our patient-focused team, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
What you'll be doing
1. Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
2. Handling patient inquiries and booking appointments
3. Assisting the dental team with administrative tasks such as file management and inventory control
4. Providing chair side assistance to dentists and dental hygienists during procedures
5. Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming practice environment
6. Adhering to all practice policies, procedures and infection control protocols
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a dental reception or assistant role, preferably in a general dental practice
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages
3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
4. Proficiency in using dental practice management software
5. A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
6. A current First Aid certificate and relevant dental qualifications or a willingness to obtain them
