About the Role
Seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee production sites.
Reporting to the General Manager, Australia, you will manage all resources, processes, and teams to ensure operational efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the operations workforce, facilities, and equipment.
- Ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely production processes.
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, stock management, and customer delivery performance.
- Monitor KPIs, industrial costing, and operational performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, safety, environmental, and corporate standards.
- Collaborate with HR on team management, recruitment, training, and performance development.
- Represent the company with authorities, insurers, unions, and external stakeholders as needed.
- Approve purchase orders and coordinate with corporate departments on investments, materials, and equipment.
- Travel within QLD and NSW as required.
Skills and Competencies
- Robust leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven experience managing a manufacturing facility or industrial operation.
- Ability to implement change, manage budgets, and drive team performance.
- Technical degree and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (D365 or similar).
- High-level communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
