About the Role:
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Assist Lifestyle. You will be supporting NDIS participants in home and in community, helping them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Providing emotional and practical support
* Supporting participants with daily activities and community access
* Encouraging social participation and engagement
* Assisting with personal development, life skills, and independent living
* Implementing positive behaviour strategies as guided by professionals
* Building strong, trusting relationships with participants
What We're Looking For:
Experience in disability support, mental health, or community services
Understanding of psychosocial disabilities and trauma-informed care
A compassionate and patient approach
Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
With NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
With First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Driver's license and reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance
