**What will you do?** 
You will undertake a variety of surveying work as per client’s requests, manage day-to-day aspects of your projects including client interaction, fieldwork, calculations, safety management and the quality assurance of all work as well as other tasks including: 
- Organise job requirements with required pre-calculations (plans, field notes, dwg files) 
- Run site surveys in an efficient and professional manner 
- Create plans from field survey data 
- Compute survey data 
- Maintain accurate records of job progress 
- Implement controls documented for all specified tasks 
- Maintain professional development and training 
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities 
**What you need to succeed** 
As well as having a ‘no problems just solutions’ attitude, you will need: 
- Minimum of a Diploma of Surveying or University Degree in Surveying 
- Previous experience at a surveyor level 
- Excellent written, spoken communication and interpersonal skills 
- White Card (General Construction Induction Card) 
- Driver’s License 
- Experience in construction & earthworks 
- Extensive knowledge of 12D 
- Experience in control networks 
- Solid mix of customer service and technical proficiency 
It would be an advantage to have: 
- Current First aid certificate 
- Experience in rail construction 
- Rail industry work (RIW) card
