If the answer is yes, we have a casual role 5 days a week, available within our Front Office team as a Telephonist that could be perfect for you. Your working hours will be Mon - Thu; 10am-6pm and Fri-Sun 8am - 4pm. You will work 5 days each week on a rotating roster across 7 days.
You may already be working in a busy admin or reception role and enjoy managing incoming calls and enquiries.
When you join our team as our newest telephonist, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation as a preferred destination for our guests and visitors to the resort as you will be the **first point of contact for all phone enquiries**.
Elements of Byron is an award winning beach front resort nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will enjoy dealing with people and managing calls with a smile. You will ensure a caller's interaction is consistently positive by listening attentively and directing enquiries efficiently to the appropriate person.
**Requirements**:
- Experience using a Multiline Phone system or managing a busy reception desk
- Previous experience in a busy phone based role
- Demonstrated customer service skills, easily building rapport in a professional and courteous manner
- Intermediate to advanced skill level Microsoft Office Suite - Opera experience desirable
- Systems orientated with meticulous attention to detail
- Available to work weekends and public holidays
- This is an on-going role, we are not able to consider someone on a working holiday visa.
