Join to apply for the Graduate Electrical Engineer role at James Hardie. This role will commence in January 2026. You will support the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and components within our manufacturing environment, with mentoring and hands-on opportunities for professional growth.

What You'll Do
* Learn the products of the business and understand their applications
* Understand customer value and the impact on manufacturing and supply chain
* Understand manufacturing processes and the drivers of quality, cost, safety, reliability, speed, waste, and delay
* Contribute to fault finding and breakdowns
* Plan and conduct electrical work during down periods and factory shutdowns
* Apply structured problem solving to drive continuous improvement within the plant
* Apply problem solving, communication and other skills to deliver on relevant projects
* Deliver all technical tasks to comply with quality, safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls to enable completion on time and within scope
* Contribute to the achievement of team and project goals
* Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with safety procedures
* Actively participate in improvement projects
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Basic knowledge of electrical design software and tools
* Demonstrate a safety-first attitude
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Tech-savvy and curious, with high learning agility and flexibility of style

* Previous exposure to engineering such as vacation or internship experience advantageous but not essential
