Overview
Tradelink Kingston is seeking a dedicated and driven Branch Assistant/Driver to join our team. This full-time role is based in Kingston, TAS 7050 and will involve providing critical support to our busy warehouse and distribution operations.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and packing orders, and maintaining the overall organisation and cleanliness of the store
* Delivering products to our customers across the local area in a safe and timely manner
* Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care
* Collaborating with the wider team to continuously improve our warehouse and distribution processes
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety and compliance requirements
What we're looking for
* A valid driver's licence and experience operating light commercial vehicles as well as forklift licence
* Any valid forklift licence is required for this position
* Minimum 6-12 months of light commercial vehicle driving experience with a Class C (car) licence
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision
* Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment would be highly regarded
* A minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse or logistics experience is essential for this role
