**SF People** is working with a new entrant in the
**Employment Services** sector. While a new entrant to the market, this company is a long standing not-for-profit company with a strong national footprint in the delivery of employment, training, and education programs.
In particular, we are currently recruiting for a Quality Officer to be based on the Gold Coast at their Southport office.
This is an exciting time to join the company to be part of a fresh, newly created team and newly opened office and to deliver the Workforce Australia and TtW (Transition to Work) contracts. You will work alongside experienced national leaders while supporting regional teams at site level.
**The Opportunity & Experience Required**:
This role is integral to the organisation's new Employment Services contracts. You will work closely with management and staff to ensure that all quality, compliance and training activities are running smoothly and are meeting legislative standards as well as the needs of employees.
Current priorities in this role include:
- Ensuring quality assurance, compliance, training and WH&S services are being delivered in an effective, high quality manner in all areas and operational delivery of the Workforce Australia and TtW contracts;
- Ensuring a high quality, timely and positive experience for all employees and staff;
- In particular, managing activities such as: policy and procedure writing, internal and external audits, auditing processes, report writing, ensuring all service activities meet legislative and compliance requirements, initiating strategies to mitigate risk, training and delivering information to staff, providing support to teams for managing quality assurance and compliance activities, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and up to date.
Ideally, you will have:
- Proven experience working within a Quality Assurance, Compliance or similar capacity or team;
- Experience working within and/or exposure or insight to the Employment Services sector in a similar role is highly sought after;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen carefully, to seek understanding, and to problem solve;
- Strong organisational, time management and time critical skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and deliverables;
- Excellent administration and written communication skills, with high attention to detail;
- Proactive approach with the willingness to work autonomously as well as part of a team as required.
