Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary academy in Lewisham, Southeast London (inner London), looking for a permanent English Teacher to join a strong English department.

Responsibilities
As an English Teacher, you will teach English to KS3, KS4 and KS5 and play a crucial role in helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills, preparing them for success in both their academic and personal lives. You'll set a level of challenge within lessons for all abilities across all key stages as well as through the thriving extra‐curricular activities already on offer.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in English or another relevant subject
* Successful experience teaching English to KS3–KS5
* Strong understanding of literacy development (reading, writing and oracy)
* A keen interest in reading and an understanding of the transformative power of literacy
