Adrenalin Snorkel & Dive, Townsville's longest established marine tourism operator is seeking an experienced and qualified Master <24m/ MED II for Day Trips to the Great Barrier Reef, Museum of Underwater Art (MOUA) and Yongala Wreck.
Requirements
* Master <24m and MED II
* Sound engineering skills
* Drivers Licence
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Experience in the diving industry
* Good interpersonal skills
* Preferred Dive Master qualified
* Hospitality experience, 2 years.
Working in close conjunction with all crew, duties will include:
* Safe vessel operation of 14m and 21m monohull day boats
* Daily checks, maintenance and reporting
* Re-fuelling of vessel in safe manner
* Conducting drills and maintaining knowledge of the Vessel's Safety Management Systems
* Leadership and mentoring of crew
* Assist with the safe, efficient and timely boarding and disembarkation of all passengers.
* Assist with preparation and cleaning at the start and end of each trip

* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to relate to passengers from a variety of backgrounds
* Good trouble shooting skills
* Strong work ethics and 'Can Do' Attitude
* Able to work flexible hours
* Be well presented at all times
Work Permits
If you are not an Australian or New Zealand citizen, you will require a work permit for Australia. We do not offer Company Sponsorship at this stage. Preference is given to applicants who are already in Australia, have valid work permits and are not limited in the length of time they may work for us.
This is a permanent position for an immediate start. Shifts will include weekends and public holidays.
