Job Overview
As a Power Systems Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in helping develop significant energy transition infrastructure in Australia and Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead client interactions and resolve project challenges by developing owner's standard requirements, reviewing technical submissions from OEM vendors and EPC Contractors, and coordinating with local and international experts.
* Manage time, quality, and financial aspects of projects and proposals to meet deadlines and success criteria.
* Work as a power engineer, guiding and reviewing designs for large generator interconnections in onshore and offshore environments, with knowledge of local networks and requirements.
* Evaluate Ramboll QA/QC procedures and understand relevant codes and standards.
* Build client relationships and communicate technical knowledge effectively to ensure alignment with client objectives.
* Assist with performance management and mentoring of team members.
* Lead business development and proposal efforts in the Power Systems area.
Requirements
* An electrical engineering degree (B.Eng., BS, or MS); Chartered Professional Engineer status is highly preferred.
* Expert knowledge of electrical systems and components within the Australian context.
* A passion for making a difference in the green energy transition.
* 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in large-scale renewables design or project development.
* Significant project experience, ideally in a similar role.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and foster continuous learning.
