Pay Range: $161,226 + super + salary packaging
Location: Thomas Embling Hospital (with work across other sites as required)
About Forensicare
Forensicare is Victoria's specialist provider of forensic mental health services. We deliver recovery‐focused care for consumers living with serious mental illness who are connected to, or at risk of contact with, the justice system. Our services span inpatient, community, prison and court settings throughout Victoria.
About the Role
The Head of Culture, Communications and Organisational Development plays a key leadership role in shaping a connected, inclusive and high‐performing organisation. You will set the strategic direction for culture, internal communications and workforce development, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and a strong focus on psychological safety and the employee experience.
Working collaboratively across clinical and corporate teams, you will drive evidence‐based initiatives that uplift leadership capability, support organisational transformation, and strengthen communication and engagement across the workforce. This is a senior influencer role, critical to building the systems, behaviours and capabilities that enable Forensicare to deliver safe and person‐centred services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead organisation‐wide culture, communication and organisational development strategies
* Promote psychological safety, inclusion, collaboration and innovation
* Oversee leadership development, coaching and capability‐building programs
* Drive organisational development initiatives using evidence‐based and co‐design approaches
* Enhance employee engagement and experience through meaningful engagement initiatives
* Deliver clear, consistent internal communication that supports change and alignment
* Lead non‐clinical learning and development, including capability and compliance programs
* Strengthen learning systems, including LMS improvement and reporting
* Embed DEIW principles across systems, programs and culture
* Lead and support the Culture, Communications & OD team to deliver high‐impact outcomes
* Provide strategic leadership, systems thinking and cross‐organisational collaboration
About You
You will bring:
* Qualifications in HR, Psychology, Organisational Development, Adult Education or similar
* Extensive senior leadership experience in culture, communications and organisational development
* A proven track record in leading cultural transformation and organisational change
* Strong experience in L&D, engagement, communications and leadership development
* Demonstrated capability in strategic influence, coaching and stakeholder engagement
* Commitment to inclusion, psychological safety and values‐based leadership
