We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Retail & Customer Service Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role located in North Geelong, Vic. We seek an individual who is customer-focused, energetic, and adaptable. This role entails a blend of customer interaction and administration with responsibility for ensuring the effective implementation and upkeep of all Company protocols and procedures related to Retail Operations. Key areas of accountability include customer service, cash management, staff scheduling, inventory management, HR, Health and Safety, security, administration, and training.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Manage all retail service customer service functions, ensuring exceptional experiences through a strategic approach that balances operational efficiency with customer satisfaction
* Develop and implement service standards, response protocols and customer centric focus that aligns with business objectives and enhances overall satisfaction
* Present and maintain the showroom and retail stock to maximise sales, ensuring also the efficient flow of click-and-collect and pre-packaged goods sold in store
* Manage the recruitment, training and development of staff to support retail operations ensuring any new and updated information is sourced and communicated to the team
* Attend regular internal meetings to ensure consistent processes and procedures are being adopted and lead process to capture feedback in timely manner
* Manage key operational functions, including cash handling, rostering, stock control, human resources, health and safety, security, administration
* Effectively manage the team in supporting the Inventory team to maintain the integrity of the Item Masterfile ensuring price & availability and classifications are up-to-date and accurate whilst obsolete items are discontinued
* Proactively manage personal and team development, embedding Campion's values and capability framework to elevate performance and professional growth

Requirements:
* Minimum of 3+ years' experience in customer service preferably with an Education, Retail or Technology focus
* Able to manage retail operations efficiently with experience in stock control, cash handling and HR procedures
* Sound knowledge of educational materials with proven experience in delivering client focused solutions based on customer needs
* Excellent relationship management skills with proficiency in effective communication, customer service and problem solving
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Proficiency with web-based systems
