Senior SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect role leading complex design, integration and transformation.

Within this environment, the Corporate Enterprise Solutions division provides statewide services across enterprise corporate applications, including payroll, workforce management, SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors. The Corporate Technology Services team plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing these systems, ensuring they remain current, efficient and capable of meeting evolving business needs.
Your new role
As the SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect, you will provide strategic leadership, expert guidance and architectural oversight across SuccessFactors and integrated ERP environments.
You will:
* Lead the design, governance and continuous improvement of complex SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
* Analyse business and system requirements to ensure alignment with organisational needs.
* Solve complex technical challenges and provide forward‑thinking architectural recommendations.
* Prepare and maintain architecture and design specifications aligned to relevant standards.
* Provide expert advice to business owners on enhancement, development and integration opportunities.
* Collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver clear and agreed business outcomes.
* Undertake quality reviews and ensure solution designs remain robust, fit for purpose and minimise customisation.
* Mentor and support other architects and team members, contributing to capability uplift.
* Maintain contemporary knowledge of ERP technologies, integration strategies and broader ICT trends.
* Uphold organisational standards relating to information security, risk, ethics, and workplace safety.
What you'll need to succeed
* Extensive experience designing and delivering SAP SuccessFactors solutions across multiple modules (Learning, Recruitment, Employee Central and others).
* Prior experience in large, highly integrated ERP environments, ideally within complex public sector or health settings.
* Strong architectural expertise, including leading architecture practices and mentoring other architects.
* Proven ability to translate complex SAP concepts into practical business outcomes.
* Expert knowledge of integration strategies, solution design, and the development of architectural artefacts.
* Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work across teams and lead others in delivering high‑quality services.
* Strong client service focus, with a track record of meeting deadlines and service level expectations.
* A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in similar architectural roles across major ERP programs.
* Commitment to ethical behaviour, employment equity, workplace health and safety, and quality management practices.
