Albany Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a motivated, organised and creative Administration and Marketing Officer to join our professional Corporate Services team.

The Role
The Administration and Marketing Officer supports school operations through effective communication, marketing and administrative services. Working closely with the Executive Support Officer and the broader Corporate Services team, this role maintains a strong and professional public profile for the school while supporting efficient internal systems and communication processes.
* Support development, design and distribution of school communications, publications and promotional materials.
* Support development and implementation of the school's marketing plan.
* Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the school's public profile, including website content and social media updates.
* Support creation of publications such as the Annual Report, Strategic Plan, Yearbook, school prospectus, staff and student handbooks and other documentation.
* Ensure departmental policies and guidelines are adhered to while assisting with editing and sub‐editing of publications and media communications.
* Prepare and format communications, reports, newsletters, promotional materials and other documentation.
* Provide administrative and promotional support for events, projects and school initiatives.
* Liaise with staff, families, students and external stakeholders in a professional, customer‐focused manner.
* Support efficient operation of the front office and Corporate Services team when required.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic school environment.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys variety, displays initiative, and can balance creativity with accuracy and attention to detail. The role may require after‐hours work at events; negotiated compensation for time will be considered.

Eligibility
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start.
* Consent to a nationally coordinated criminal history check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
