The Business Support Officer is responsible for providing business support to Corporate and the broader Justice and Community Safety (JACS) business units. This includes the processing of accounts payable and receivable, human resources administrative functions, travel bookings, administering Cabcharge, assist in the onboarding of new starters, provision of stationery, maintaining asset registers, be the Corporate point of contact for the Corporate Facilities, Fleet and Support (C-FFS) Team and managing the mail roster. The Business Support Officer works closely to and under the broad guidance of the Assistant Director, Business Support and Finance. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Demonstrated experience in a finance/business support area and knowledge of financial business systems like APIAS, Oracle and/or TM1 is highly desirable. If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated. This position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk.
