You will lead the planning phase for new public schools, coordinating teams of external consultants, managing financial reporting, liaising with stakeholders, providing expert advice, fostering collaboration, maintaining project programs, preparing reports, and undertaking risk assessments. Your leadership skills will be crucial in driving these projects forward.Develop Preliminary Evaluations, Detailed Business Cases, and Ministerial Infrastructure Designations for New Schools Planning unit with minimal supervisionCoordinate teams of external consultants for efficient development of the workAssist with procurement activities for the engagement of external consultantsManage monthly financial reporting and forecast expenditure of the projectLiaise as necessary with internal and external stakeholder groups and agenciesProvide project specific advice to management and the executive, and liaise with other units as requiredWork collaboratively with other staff members and external consultantsBuild and maintain high levels of communication and collaborative partnerships with internal units and external agencies to facilitate achievement of project objectivesDevelop and maintain project programs and risk registers to a high standardPrepare and present monthly reporting on internal and external governance reporting boards and working groupsWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Senior Project Manager role brings proven experience in managing infrastructure projects.
