About the Role
As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a safe working environment across a high-volume, fast-paced fulfilment centre.
You will lead multiple teams through your direct reports, manage workforce planning, drive performance outcomes, and play a key role in supporting ongoing optimisation projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, and inventory.
* Drive a high-performance culture through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability.
* Oversee workforce planning, rostering, and labour allocation to meet fluctuating volumes.
* Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to optimise throughput and accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with all WHS policies, audits, and safety initiatives.
* Partner with cross-functional teams including inventory, planning, customer service, and transport.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing automation projects.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping, efficiency, and team engagement.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfilment leadership role — ideally at Operations Manager/Site Manager level.
* Proven success managing fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environments.
* Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support large teams and frontline leaders.
* Confident working with WMS platforms, operational reporting, and performance analytics.
* Solid understanding of warehouse best practice, safety compliance, and workflow optimisation.
* Adaptable, hands-on, and solutions-focused, with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
