Retail Assistant – Queanbeyan (New Store Opening January 2026)
Open Mobility is a part of the Country Care Group (CCG) and CCG is a leading Australian family‑owned supplier of medical and in‑home aids, is seeking 2 motivated Retail Assistants for our new Queanbeyan location due to open, late January 2026.
With over 130 member stores across Australia, CCG is recognised for delivering innovative healthcare solutions and outstanding customer service.
As the Retail Assistant, your primary objective will be to deliver excellence in service within our showroom, creating a welcoming environment for clients and medical professionals. Your passion for customer service and product knowledge will play a vital role in promoting sales and assisting clients in finding the right solutions.
A National Police check is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service and drive product sales
* Provide expert product advice to customers and professionals
* Respond to telephone inquiries and assist with customer needs
* Manage debt collection and operate Point of Sale systems
* Liaise with occupational therapists, medical professionals, clients, and families to deliver tailored solutions
* Generate invoices, maintain records, and coordinate deliveries
* Process orders and correspondence via the online portal
* Ensure the showroom is well‑presented and organised.
Requirements:
1. Previous customer service experience, ideally in retail
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Strong organisational and time management abilities
4. Ability to work effectively within a team
5. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
6. Knowledge of healthcare products or experience in the medical industry is an advantage.
