WHO IS JACKALOPE?
Jackalope is an award winning boutique hotel, comprising of 44 rooms, combined with two hatted restaurants, art inspired cocktail bar, event space, an infinity pool, pool bar and stunning surroundings of our vineyard.
Our amazing Flaggerdoot cocktail bar is looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team and deliver world class experience for our guests. You will ensure a high standard of service and bar operations.
Full support will be given by the Bar Manager and other supporting food & beverage managers. This is a varied and dynamic role which will challenge and delight the right person.
THE ROLE
* Provide personalised, high standard of service to all internal and external guests
* Assist with stock ordering and inventory control
* Ensure all guests requests are managed in a timely manner
* Work closely with other departments to ensure guests satisfaction at all times
* Serve food and beverage to guests according to established sequence of service and procedures
* Provide training and support to all staff
* Lead by example, be humble, respectful and enjoy your work
ABOUT YOU
* At least 5 years of dedicated bar experience is essential / 2 years in a supervisor role
* Ability to work in a very fast paced, quick moving environment
* Strong knowledge of spirits / cocktails, preparing and creating recipes
* Strong focus on guest satisfaction and going above and beyond
* Proven ability in building effective relationships
* Excellent interpersonal, attention to detail, communication and time management skills
* The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays

* RSA - Must attain Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
