About the Role: 
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide health and safety expertise and leadership, guidance, and direction to line managers, supervisors, and HSR/s on complex issues associated with WHS. 
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including HSRs, to promote an integrated approach to managing WHS issues. 
- Develop and provide training to staff, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure they have the skills to fulfill their WHS responsibilities. 
- Monitor incident investigations and reports to ensure appropriate corrective action is undertaken. 
- Develop the Safety Management Plan for incidents. 
- Collaborate with our Manager - Work Health Safety & Wellbeing to assist with direction, advice, and priority setting.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a similar role, with expertise in Work Health and Safety. 
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act. 
- Experience in providing consultancy and guidance services to organisations, specifically in incident response and emergency management. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels. 
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills. 
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage priorities. 
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related field.
