Purpose of the Role
The Part-Time Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial administration of the business, with a strong focus on SDA invoicing, receipting, and account management. This role is critical in ensuring accurate billing, timely receipting, and compliant financial processes aligned with NDIS and SDA requirements.

Key Responsibilities
SDA & Financial Administration
* Invoice SDA payments, participant rent, and owner administration fees accurately and in line with SDA agreements and NDIS requirements. End to End Bookkeeping
* Proactive client communication and issue resolution etc
* Receipt SDA payments, rent, and owner fees, ensuring accurate allocation across accounts.
* Manage accounts receivable and payable, including follow-up of outstanding invoices.
* Reconcile bank accounts and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
* Maintain clear and auditable financial records for SDA properties/ participant/ Debtors
Systems & Programs
* Utilise and maintain financial data within Pace and Palace programs.
* Work with PRODA-related processes as required (knowledge preferred).
* Ensure data integrity across financial and SDA management systems.
Owner & Stakeholder Support
* Provide administrative and financial support relating to SDA property owners.
* Respond to owner and internal queries regarding invoices, payments, and statements.
* Assist with preparation of owner statements and financial reports as required.
Compliance & Reporting
* Support compliance with NDIS, SDA, and organisational financial requirements.
* Assist with preparation of reports for management, auditors, or external stakeholders.
* Ensure invoicing and receipting aligns with SDA price limits and agreements.
General Finance Support
* Assist with month-end processes as required.
* Support the General Manager and Director with ad-hoc finance and administration tasks.

Key Skills & Experience
Essential
* Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounts/finance role.
* Strong experience with invoicing, receipting, and account management.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
* Experience working within the NDIS and/or SDA sector.
* Knowledge of PRODA/ Pace processes.
* Experience using Palace program.
* Understanding of SDA payments, rent structures, and owner fee arrangements.
* Experience supporting audits or compliance reporting.

Mandatory Requirements & Clearances
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
* Current National Police Check.
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Quality, Safety and You).
