About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Domestic & Family Violence Team Leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality support services for individuals and families impacted by domestic and family violence. In this full-time leadership role, you will provide strategic direction to a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring the provision of trauma-informed, client-centered support that drives lasting change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership to the Domestic & Family Violence team.
* Oversee the delivery of client services, including crisis intervention, safety planning, case management and referrals.
* Support staff to advocate for clients in multi-agency meetings and forums, ensuring their needs are heard.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Provide supervision, mentoring and support to team members to build their skills, capacity, and confidence.
* Drive continuous service improvement through monitoring, evaluation, and the implementation of best practices.
About You:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in human services and a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience (e.g., social work, psychology, community services).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the domestic and family violence sector, with a proven track record in leadership.
Strong program management and organisational skills with the ability to meet strategic goals and deliver outcomes.
Comprehensive understanding of domestic and family violence dynamics and their impact.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partner organisations.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex client cases and facilitate effective case management.
Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in service delivery.
