Your role will be pivotal in aligning HR strategy with business goals, cultivating an inclusive culture, and ensuring they attract, retain, and develop top talent.In collaboration with executive management, define and advance strategic people, culture and capability plans to build brand and reputationEnsure compliance to all legal HR requirements, including the Workplace Health & Safety Act 2011 and payroll related obligationsProvide guidance to managers and staff regarding the requirements and interpretation of all relevant legislation, regulations, Awards and Industrial AgreementsManage an end-to-end recruitment and selection processManage and coordinate staff induction and onboardingProvide advice and support to employees regarding performance management, appropriate standards and expectations, and corrective action to be taken, as requiredManage the termination of all staff in accordance with relevant policies and proceduresEnsure training plans are aligned with individuals' goals and organisational objectivesAdvise on staff performance issues, including performance improvement, performance counselling and disciplinary actionMaintain HR policy and procedure frameworkOversee the administration of the staff recognition and reward programCoordinate the implementation of a learning management systemProvide Human Resource and Industrial Relation advice as requiredManage all workers' compensation claims in a proactive and timely mannerEstablish and implement sound platforms to deliver a culture of high-performanceWhat we're looking forWell organized with exceptional time management skill, including the ability to prioritize, plan and manage competing demandsHigh level of computer literacy – including the Microsoft Office suite and Payroll/Human Resource Information SystemsHigh attention to detailInitiative, flexibility, adaptability and analytical skillsAbility to problem solveWell-developed interpersonal skills - able to interact professionally and effectively with colleagues, jobseekers, managers and other stakeholdersDegree in Human Resources Management, Business or other related discipline is desirable, and you have a robust track record of at least 5 years' experience in a similar roleWhat's in it for youWFH flexibilityA company renowned for its culture and reputationStart and finish times can be flexible within the 38-hour working weekBrisbane North location with onsite parkingApply now!
