Pete's Swim School operates an indoor swim school facility in Queanbeyan and are looking for energetic people with a talent and passion for connecting with children.

We are also a family business that care and support our employees. Our new commercial swim school is an expansion from our home swim school and is a long time dream finally a reality.
Our water is a warm 33 degrees and contains added magnesium to be gentle on your skin. Our beginner and intermediate levels have only 2 children per class, so your classes will be easier to manage than other swim schools and your students will progress more quickly, giving you great satisfaction at the end of the day.
This is a part-time role. You could work from one 4 hour shift per week up to five shifts per week, depending on current availability (4 to 20 hours per week).
If you are a former squad swimmer this can be an advantage. However, anyone that progressed through most of the levels of learn-to-swim can apply. This means you need to be able to swim freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke.
We will train you up to deliver high quality and fun lessons and you will love the smile on the children's faces - kids love learning to swim
Full training will be provided and reimbursement for your swim teacher license costs will be paid.
You must include a cover letter outlining why you are interested in this role and why you think you might be a good swimming teacher. ****Applications without a cover letter will be rejected****.
Applicants must be 16 years or older to start work. Training can begin at age 15.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
