Role description
We have a new opportunity for Ecologists to join our team in Sydney.
You will help grow a national ecology team across NSW, VIC and QLD, working on projects ranging from large BDARs to small conservation and offset projects while mentoring junior team members.
Role accountabilities
Providing technical ecological advice and report deliverables on complex projects
Field-based data collection, surveys and mapping including threatened species surveys and PCT identification
Supporting the National Ecology Lead in maintaining a sustainable pipeline of work for a growing team through business development
Involvement in proposals and building awareness of the Arcadis brand and ecological capabilities of the team
Proactively managing projects or components of projects, quality assurance, and development of client relationships
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in ecology or a related degree
Knowledge of, and experience in, flora and/or fauna identification and assessment in NSW
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant post-graduate experience, including report delivery and project management
Experience leading, mentoring and developing ecologists and providing technical support
