As an Education Officer you will codesign a broad range of education resources that support providers and workers to meet their responsibilities and build a culture of excellence that prioritises safe and quality care and champions the rights of all people receiving government-funded aged care and services. The key duties of the position include Education design and development: Support and administer discovery and continuous improvement activities. Undertake research to understand audience and education insights. Apply learning experience and user experience design methodology. Design education resources for specific audiences. Develop education resources in a range of formats including (but not limited to) interactive eLearning courses and microlearning, videos and animations, experiential and peer activities, self-service PowerPoints and delivery plans, live learning, workshops and webinars, as well as static resources like factsheets, tools. Education content development: Synthesise information and build content into a logical information architecture to support cognition. Apply adult learning theory and insights ensuring content is relevant, engaging and meaningful for the audience. Apply APS Writing Styles, accessibility guidelines, proofreading, editing and peer review practices to produce professional education resources using plain language. Communicate and support your decisions with references and a strong rationale. Use visuals and storytelling to effectively convey information.
