Disability Support Specialist
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to manage challenging behaviors and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
* Assist individuals and their families/caregivers to develop strategies for managing challenging behaviors, promoting positive outcomes, and enhancing daily living skills.
* Conduct thorough assessments to identify behavior triggers, risks, and specific strategies for improving behavior outcomes.
To be considered suitable you will have:
* A current suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

* An allied health degree qualification such as Social Work or Occupational Therapy,
1-2 years experience working with mental health or disability support workers.
