Overview

The Bike Place is seeking an enthusiastic Administration and Sales Support professional to join our team in Port Kennedy. This is a part-time opportunity, school hours friendly, to provide administrative and sales support. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations and contributing to our sales efforts.

Hours: 20-25 or up to 38 hours per week on offer for the right candidate with other task roles also available to be combined into a new role.

Key Responsibilities

* Responding to emails, phone calls and social media enquiries with urgency.
* Manage customer and internal warranties.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client enquiries and concerns with professionalism.
* Processing of our ecommerce orders and ensuring our website is up to date.
* Bank and invoice reconciliation in Xero.
* Monthly and adhoc supplier payments and reconciliation.
* Assist with general office duties and daily coordination of the company's operations.
* Assist with the coordination and schedule all appointments for our Workshop Technicians.
* Supporting the team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

We stock and love Trek and base many parts of our business on the Trek way of doing business. We also stock many other leading brands of bikes and accessories.

Skill and Experience desired

* Excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written English
* Possess great time management skills
* Experience in filing, creditors, debtors, banking, reconciling
* Able to work with minimal supervision
* Competent computer skills with sound knowledge in Excel
* Experience of resolving customer requests and issues
* If you love and ride bikes it would be a great fit

Drivers Licence a must; we offer delivery on occasion to our local customers.
