An established global medical devices company is looking for a Product Application Specialist for their Brisbane office.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining relationships with laboratories and research facilities, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how their products can address them. You will work closely with the sales team, providing technical expertise to develop proposals and presentations, as well as delivering training and support to customers on the use of their products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with laboratories and research facilities to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for their products.
Collaborate with the sales team to create proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of potential customers.
Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers as needed, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
Stay updated on the latest developments in high-end life science imaging systems, including confocal laser scanning microscopes, advanced light microscopy, and laser microscopy.
Ability to travel nationally and internationally for customer visits, conferences, and training sessions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, with postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field such as life sciences, physics, or materials science.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with high-end life science imaging systems, including confocal laser scanning microscopes and advanced light microscopy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and colleagues at all levels.
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, conferences, and training sessions.
