The Hutchins Middle School provides a stimulating, nurturing and vibrant environment for Students from Years 6-8.
We have a part-time opportunity available to work Monday to Friday, 8.00am-1.30pm, term time only. This role will provide a welcoming reception to all visitors and users of the Middle School, provide first aid care to students and implement effective administration support to the Head of Middle School and other allocated staff.
As Receptionist you will have:
* Strong customer service skills and experience that actively support the values of the School.
* Organisational and planning skills with the ability to be flexible, meeting the changing demands of each day.
* Experience making decisions and working autonomously while completing accurate work to a deadline.
* Willingness to step in to help where and when needed.
* Experience in providing administrative and/or clerical support in a contemporary work environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and respond appropriately to a variety of different individuals and confidential situations.
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications to create documents and input accurate information for the creation of reports.
* Tasmanian Department of Justice Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
* A first aid certificate or the willingness to obtain a first aid certificate as soon as possible.
