Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Salesforce Business Analyst to join the organisation. In this role you will be joining a highly agile team that is working across a wide range of projects centred around modernising and improving interactions across the state.
This role is suited to a Business Analyst who has strong experience in Salesforce, including experience within the Salesforce Business Rules Engine, as well as being able to work on configuration and user acceptance. Additionally, experience within Grants management or projects touching on finance is seen as highly valuable.
Role Title: Salesforce Business Analyst
Contract Length: 6 month initial contract.
Daily Pay: $800 - 900 + Super per day.
Location: Parramatta (2150). Office/WFH Hybrid, 3 days per week in office and 2 days from home.
Role Requirements:
* Working in a cross-collaborative team, with Product Owners, Developers, Technical Leads and QA Testers.
* Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
* Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimisation strategies.
* Stay up to date on the latest process and Salesforce platform advancements to automate and modernize systems.
* Perform, evaluate, and communicate detailed requirements on Salesforce project initiatives.
* Translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
* Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
* Manage a broad range of Salesforce tasks including configuration, customisation, implementation, and support.
* Act as a liaison between different stakeholders to ensure that both business and technical perspectives are taken into account.
* Manage system testing and deployment activities to ensure high performance and functionality.
* Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on the status of Salesforce projects.
* Work closely with the Salesforce team to design and implement enhancements and make recommendations on Salesforce solutions.
Key Challenges:
* Joining a fast-paced team environment, with projects in-flight and at go-live stage.
* Working with an array of stakeholders, internal and external to the department.
Knowledge and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
* Strong experience in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Flow and Automation, collaboration, data management, reporting, and dashboarding.
* Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its features, with Salesforce Business Rule Engin experience e being seen as highly important.
* Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Salesforce certification is a plus.
* Experience working on grants or financial management/improvement projects are seen as valuable.
* Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field.
