Our client seeks an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join their team based in Mitchell.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including receivables, payables, reconciliations, and data entry.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with journal entries.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with BAS, GST, and FBT reporting obligations.
- Support system enhancements and process improvements.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Proven experience in accounts payable/ receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role.
- Qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field would be a bonus.
- Experience with invoicing, BAS, profit and loss statements, and month-end reporting.
- Good Excel skills and solid IT literacy.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred
- A high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Experience in a project or contract-based environment (desirable).
