Your Role in Our Future
As a Clinical Trial Assistant, you will work closely with our patients and nursing team to carry out a range of clinical tasks and assessments and contributing positively to the patient experience. Our environment is fast moving and so being able to prioritise and work across multiple tasks at once whilst maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy is key.
The job description will provide you with a full list of responsibilities however some of your duties will include;
* Conduct all clinical activities including ECG, blood collection,venepuncture and cannulation (full training will be provided).
* Liaise with the lab team to support the correct storage and transfer of biological samples.
* Carry out inventory stock checks, collating trial packs and ordering of clinical supplies.
* Record and enter patient data accurately using study specific software.
* Liaise with participants, patients and third party vendors to book appointments for clinical procedures.
This role is full-time and based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands.
Your Experience
Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a medical or health setting and be passionate about collaboration, excellence and the wellbeing of our patients.
Along with this, your applicationmust also be able to demonstrate;
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing demands.
* Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy and data entry.
* Demonstrated experience working with standard operating procedures, protocols and regulations.
* Strong computer literacy with the ability to work across multiple platforms.
