Senior CNC Machinist Role
CNC Machine Operator Job Description:
This critical role in our lean manufacturing environment involves reading blueprints, maintaining tight tolerances, and troubleshooting/reparing CNC equipment.
Responsibilities include:
* Following standard work machine set up, running parts, and preventative maintenance (PM).
* Inspecting, deburring, and performing manual operations or operating other equipment, including the selection and presetting of tools required for the next scheduled job.
* Updating and maintaining all visual controls and creating countermeasures to operate in a clean and safe environment.
* Participating in SMED, Kaizen events, and '5 Whys' problem-solving exercises.
* Resolving and/or reporting equipment abnormalities.
Requirements:
* At least 3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience.
* At least 3+ years navigating CNC controls, including OSP, Fanuc, Haas controls.
* At least 3+ years of experience troubleshooting/repairing and training others on turret alignment, spindle/motor replacements, and other machine components rebuilds.
* At least 3+ years repairing and installing various voltages as needed for CNC equipment.
* At least 3+ years designing and implementing new hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* At least 3+ years of experience identifying, developing, and performing required daily/weekly/monthly/semi-annual and annual maintenance on all CNC equipment.
Preferred skills include proficiency in Fanuc robots and simple fabrication and welding applications.
This position is fully site-based at our facility. Starting pay will range from $22.75 - $26.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
