About the Role:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough business analyses to identify opportunities for improvement within the organisation. They will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs), and build new capabilities. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
* Conducting in-depth business analyses to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
* Gathering requirements from various stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and other means.
* Document business processes (both current and future state) using BPMN standard, identifying business dependencies, linkages and opportunities for improvements.
* Analysing existing processes and systems to determine their effectiveness and efficiency.
* Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality across the organisation.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build new capabilities and improve service delivery Communicating findings and recommendations to management and other Stakeholders.
* Participating in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful implementation of improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies as required.
* Collaborate with stakeholders from various areas, including enterprise functions, to ensure a seamless transition to the future service delivery operating model.
* Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing expertise and guidance in the area of business design and transition.
* Foster positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
* promoting open dialogue and mutual understanding across stakeholders.
Skills and capability:
* Tertiary degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Project Management or a related field
* Must have active NV1 or NV2 clearance and is willing to undergo a TS PV clearance process
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in working with government agencies as a business
* analyst with good understanding of agile environment
* Strong knowledge of requirements elicitation, process analysis and design, and SOP development
* Proficiency in collecting and documenting business processes (As-is processes) and conducting through analyses to identify areas for improvement, culminating in proposing and documenting future business processes (To-be process) using BPMN standards
* Understanding of enterprise domain in areas of operations, capability development in the context of service delivery, human Resource, finance, customer service management, case management etc.
* Demonstrated experience in designing and building capabilities within service delivery organisations
* Expertise in fostering positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting open dialogue and mutual understanding across stakeholders
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Visio, Atlassian tools particularly Jira and Confluence
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Skilled in managing the development and delivery of trainings for internal and external agencies and vendors
