CPB Contractors, part of the CIMIC Group, is Australia's leading contractor building critical infrastructure including roads, bridges, rail, tunnelling, defence, airports, buildings and resources. The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), comprising CPB Contractors, BMD Constructions and Arup, has been selected to deliver the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The major upgrade includes new express lanes, upgraded noise walls and revitalised sections of the Koonung Creek Linear Park. Delivered under an Alliance Contract with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) as the owner and TSA as the NOPs, this project forms part of the North East Link Program (NELP) to provide a safer, more efficient freeway connection for over 135,000 vehicles daily, removing 15,000 trucks from local roads and reducing traffic across the Yarra River arterial network by 50,000 vehicles per day.
Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, setup and delivery of traffic projects, implementing effective systems and controls.
* Oversee project performance to meet timelines, budget, quality, safety and contractual requirements, driving timely corrective actions.
* Manage successful project close‐out and client handover, ensuring all deliverables meet expectations.
* Review and validate traffic designs, construction plans, staging, method statements and safety requirements to ensure compliance and quality.
Minimum Requirements
* Oversee personal and team delivery of projects valued between $10M and $50M.
* Develop and implement methodologies to ensure compliance with scope and technical requirements.
* Apply strong commercial discipline, including forward planning (up to three months), progress and cost tracking and proactive risk management.
* Establish and enforce SHEQ processes and procedures, ensuring team adherence.
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline; professional certification preferred.
* Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
