About The Role

We're seeking an experienced and capable Administration Officer to join our forward-thinking virtual care team.

This isn't your standard admin role — you'll be the key support for both virtual and in-person clinics, engaging with GPs and primary care providers, and managing the behind-the-scenes operations of one of the district's most impactful programs.

Key Responsibilities

* Facilitate and oversee virtual case conference clinics, including the MEDIBUS and DAP+ services
* Manage diary bookings, travel arrangements, documentation, meeting prep, and KPI reporting
* Liaise with GP practices and external stakeholders across the Hunter New England region
* Onboard patients from the waitlist and coordinate program communications
* Provide logistical and administrative support for education events and clinic delivery
* Work closely with the program's Implementation Manager and fellow administration officers

What You'll Bring
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities
* Experienced in administrative roles, ideally within healthcare or community programs
* Strong communication skills with confidence engaging internal and external stakeholders
* Tech-savvy and confident using Microsoft Office, virtual care platforms (e.g. HealthDirect), and adaptable to new systems
* Ability to work autonomously and troubleshoot issues in a virtual setting
* Experience is valued, but team fit is paramount. If you're personable, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, we want to hear from you.

Support and Development

You'll be supported day-to-day by our Implementation Manager and experienced administration team.

You'll also have access to continuous professional development through HNE My Health Learning, HETI, and relevant training pathways to grow your capability in the health sector.

Why Join DAP+ and Hunter New England Health?

This Level 4 administrative opportunity is rare and rewarding.

You'll be at the heart of a program that is transforming how diabetes care is delivered.

Our team is collaborative, professional, and passionate about health equity.

As Part Of HNE Health, You'll Enjoy
* Monthly ADOs (for full-time staff)
* 4 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
* Paid parental leave (if eligible)
* Flexible salary packaging and novated leasing
* Fitness Passport – discounted gym access for you and your family
* Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and immediate family
