Project Details
The position is based in the Radio Frequency Lab within the MR Physics group at the Center for Medical Physics & Biomedical Engineering, Medical University of Vienna. The research is conducted at the High Field MR Center Vienna, which offers access to high-performance GPU/CPU servers, a fully equipped RF laboratory, mechanical workshops, and state-of-the-art 3T and 7T research MRI scanners. The successful candidate will work closely with breast radiologists and other experts, engaging in both software development and real-world clinical validation.
Key Responsibilities Include
– Identifying clinically relevant image features through expert interviews with breast radiologists
– Designing and developing software for automated image processing and analysis
– Validating the developed tools on real patient data, comparing results with radiologist ground truth
