We are seeking an experienced Reporting & Governance Lead to establish and drive a high-performing governance and reporting ecosystem within a complex, mission-critical ICT sustainment program.
This role sits at the centre of program transparency and accountability-ensuring performance is clearly understood, decisions are traceable, and governance aligns with contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements.
The Role
As the Reporting & Governance Lead, you will take ownership of governance frameworks, reporting structures, and program oversight processes aligned to ASDEFCON and broader compliance obligations.
You will work closely with engineering, security, sustainment, and subcontractor teams to ensure consistent governance execution across all domains.
Key responsibilities include:
* Own and manage the end-to-end governance framework, ensuring alignment with ASDEFCON controls and contractual obligations
* Establish and coordinate governance forums, including calendars, agendas, minutes, action tracking, and escalation pathways
* Lead the design and delivery of program reporting, including CDRL-aligned outputs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and auditability
* Provide performance insights through reporting, trend analysis, risk identification, and executive-level commentary
* Maintain oversight of compliance, documentation quality, backlog governance, risks, gaps, and contract changes across the program lifecycle
* Drive consistency and quality across governance artefacts including registers, decision logs, and reporting packs
* Build strong relationships across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure governance practices are embedded and effective
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in Governance, Reporting, or PMO leadership within complex ICT programs or service environments
* Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret multi-source performance data and present clear, actionable insights
* Experience coordinating senior governance forums, including preparation of papers, minutes, and decision tracking
* Working knowledge of regulated environments (e.g. ASDEFCON, ISM, risk and performance frameworks)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across multi-vendor and cross-functional teams
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy, transparency, and compliance
* Resilient and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Security Requirements
* Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
* Active TSPV Clearance (mandatory)
* Ability to obtain and maintain DISA/OSA suitability
