Operational Technology Security Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) engineer to provide cybersecurity support and assurance activities to protect frontline systems from cyber-attacks.
This role is part of the Digital Function within the OT team, reporting to the Senior Cybersecurity Lead.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining OT asset security at acceptable levels, leading contractors delivering OT-specific work, and ensuring OT system changes are secure and fit for purpose.
Ideal candidates will have experience in Control System Engineering, OT, or IT, good understanding of cybersecurity and risk management, especially in Oil & Gas environments.
A strong stakeholder management skillset and leadership qualities are also essential. A degree in Engineering or IT from a recognized university is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain OT asset security at acceptable levels.
* Lead contractors delivering OT-specific work.
* Ensure OT system changes are secure and fit for purpose.
Requirements
* At least 2 years of experience in Control System Engineering, OT, or IT.
* Good understanding of cybersecurity and risk management, especially in Oil & Gas environments.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Leadership qualities.
* Engineering or IT degree from a recognized university.
