About the role
Duties & responsibilities for this role will include:
* Use of basic hand-tools, power tools, and confidence with accurately measuring tools
* Assist and use automated cutting and hoisting machinery developed for the blinds manufacturing industry
* Performing tasks to a high standard, including using saws etc to precisely cut, assemble, inspect, test, tune and package blinds for installation.
* Cutting and assembling hardware and finish products for all types of blinds
* Follow written production information relating to the manufacture of each blind.
* Provide accountability to meet daily quality production requirements and coordinate with other factory staff as required.
To be successful for this position, the applicant must:
* Have experience in this field
* Have specific experience in blinds manufacturing
* Possess a minimum of 2+ years experience in this field
* Have a current drivers licence
* Be able to work independently and unsupervised
* Take pride in work quality
* Be reliable and hard working
* Be able to solve problems
* Hold Australian citizenship
A remuneration package based on experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
