The Technical Advisory Practice advises clients on enterprise architecture, leveraging the entire Microsoft ecosystem, journey to Azure, IT operating models and security. The role owns the strategy that ensures the area Practice has the right capabilities to seize market advantage and is responsible for driving business growth, supporting sales development and conversion, solutioning and delivery, and practice strategy, in addition to people, capability and community development. Skills and experiences
- Grow our Technical Advisory capabilities by engaging with leadership and advising clients at the highest strategic level with big-picture and tactical guidance on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes;
- Assess clients current or planned use of Technology in terms of alignment with strategy, industry best practice and optimal architectural, operational and financial fit ;
- Possess deep understanding of technology trends and strategies for identifying cloud solutions to meet client business, financial and technical objectives;
- Develop and maintain go to market strategies around Security, Cloud and Enterprise Architecture adoption and optimization plus supporting solution area migration services.

What you'll do
Practice Leadership & Growth
- Define, align (with global and regional BG plans, IGTM, and other BGs), implement, and evolve area practice strategy and plans to ensure that area has market leading capabilities in our chosen markets. Area strategy and planning is driven in partnership wit Regional Leads.
- Manage area (and region/country where applicable) practice team in line with agreed plans and KPIs
- Incorporate global practice priorities into area practice priorities and cascade to Region Practice Leads, and drive the feedback loop from Region to Global
- Collaborate with Advisory Region BG Leads on, and contribute to, performance assessment and process of Advisory Region Practice Leads
- Build strong relationships with regional and area Avanade leaders as well as area-level Microsoft and Accenture leaders, including Strategy & Consulting, to drive growth of the practice and ensure maximum synergy (e.g., working together rather than competing, not duplicating Microsoft skills development, and positioning Avanade as preferred for Microsoft resources. - Proactively work with Sales, Client Account, and Line of Business/Play Leads to identify, qualify, and prioritize strategic/ high value opportunities
- Lead and/or provide support for sales development and closure including provision of insights, demonstrations, creation of proposals, delivery of client presentations and input into contracts for strategic/high value opportunities
- Lead and/or provide expert solutioning support to assist with sales development/ closure and successful delivery of projects and services where appropriate
- Own and extend client relationship helping Avanade to broaden its client network and deliver an exceptional client experience
- Assist with contextualization of the global go-to-market motions, e.g., Plays, so that they are relevant and have impact in the area or region market(s) Create and Evolve Assets and Solutions
- Define and implement the area's practice asset and solution plan
- Integrate and share regional feedback on enablement needs to global and support the regions with what they need to sell and deliver practice solutions
- Ensure exemplar assets harvested by the regions are visible to the Global Practice Lead
