Overview
We have an exciting casual opportunity available for an enthusiastic Catering and Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly team. In this support role, you will help maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and service throughout the hospital and assist with catering tasks in the kitchen. You will follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve nutritious meals to patients.
* Assist with basic food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties.
* Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
* Maintain cleanliness across patient rooms, theatres, and public areas.
* Contribute to the overall presentation and comfort of the facility.
Your Skills And Experience
* You are a reliable, positive, and customer-focused team member who takes pride in their work and contributes to a supportive team culture.
* Will require one weekend worked per fortnight
* Must be available for both morning shift and afternoon shift
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness
* Previous cleaning experience (hospital or healthcare setting preferred but not essential)
* Proven customer service and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work across a 14-day roster with a range of shifts available

Requirements
* Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
* Ramsay may require proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, as appropriate to the role
