Job Description
You will play a key role in the refurbishment of crushers & HPGRs used in the mining industry. Your responsibilities include:
* Disassembling, inspecting, and repairing crushers, crushers' components, and related machinery.
* Executing repairs with precision to optimize crusher performance.
* Collaborating closely with Project Managers to facilitate seamless refurbishment processes.
* Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
* Maintaining essential documentation and refurbishment records, ensuring comprehensive accuracy.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Fitter, particularly in the maintenance and refurbishment of crushers or similar heavy machinery.
* Strong mechanical and technical skills.
* Knowledge of various tools and equipment used in heavy machinery maintenance.
* Strong problem‐solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Commitment to workplace safety.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A relevant trade certificate or qualifications.
